RALALA is the lake association for Leavitt, Lawrence, Roosevelt and Smokey Hollow lakes, spanning Cass and Crow Wing Counties. Our mission is to work together to maintain water quality in our lakes and the surrounding environment for ourselves and future generations.

That mission has never been more important than it is today. We have serious changes happening in and around our lakes. They are stressed from climate change, from more use, from the escalating danger of invasive species infestation, and from more intense development. All these facts are parts of the world in which we live  -- realities with which we must deal.
Indeed, RALALA is now battling a Eurasian Water Milfoil infestation in Roosevelt Lake which tests our ability to raise the money needed for herbicide treatments.

We also care about the lake communities, our neighbors, and the nearby towns and cities that support the lakes. The lake association has many activities that build on our strengths as a network of caring people.

We invite you to send us your thoughts about lake stewardship. We invite members to participate in this lakes association by using their diverse talents to make and keep our lake association a vital part of a gifted up north community.

Email us at with your ideas or to volunteer your services. All responses will be answered. We need your ideas to keep the association fresh and vibrant!
